SUBMIT ENTRIES FOR THE AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT


Through November 15, visitors may submit two entries for our Annual Amateur Photography Exhibit, which will be displayed in the Nature Realm or by virtual exhibit, depending on current health department guidance. Only two printed photographs will be accepted, and all images must be taken in areas managed by Summit Metro Parks. With each entry, please include your name, address, phone number, email, the location where the image was taken and a title for the image. Where possible, please do not share contact information with other entrants. Entries should not be matted, framed or include watermarks, and should be one of the following sizes: 5"x7", 8"x10" or 11"x14" and printed on photo paper. You may drop off entries during spree rewards pickup (see Fall Hiking Spree website for details) or mail them to 975 Treaty Line Rd., c/o Alisa, Akron OH 44313. Please include with your submission a completed entry form, which may be downloaded from the top of the Programs & Events webpage. Summit Metro Parks is not responsible for any photographs lost or damaged in the mail. Due to COVID-19, please note that photographs will not be returned. FASN/Visitors Center

ZUMBA


Take the "work" out of workout and join us for a calorie-burning dance fitness party! Once the rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. This hour-long, outdoor class for participants ages 14 and up is led by a certified instructor. The class is moderate to high intensity, but can be modified to fit your level. Class is FREE, but advanced registration is required as socially-distanced spaces are limited. YOGA FOR KIDS


Kids ages 7 and up are invited to join certified yoga instructor Lisa Meranti for a program focused on connecting with nature. This class will take place outside with distancing. In case of inclement weather, class will be moved to September 17th. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or towel and drinking water. Guardians are asked to bring lawn chairs to distance behind the class or wait in their cars.
