Summit Metro Parks We're Your Back Yard

Autism Friendly

Summit Metro Parks is Autism Friendly

Summit Metro Parks strives to be inclusive of all citizens, and has taken extra steps to accommodate families and individuals who live with Autism.

Autism FriendlySummit Metro Parks teamed up with the Autism Society of Greater Akron to join the Autism Friendly Communities program. Staff received special training to assist visitors who may have autism or other developmental disabilities in order to be more accommodating.

At times the Nature Realm Visitors Center experiences high visitation. Contact us at the number below if you'd like assistance planning your visit.
