To join our Volunteer Registry to be contacted for future one-time, drop-in service days or apply to be an ongoing Summit Metro Parks volunteer, please complete the form below. Depending on the nature of the project, youth may be able to volunteer with parent/guardian participation.

Communications will be sent when new opportunities are available monthly or seasonal depending on the park district’s needs. Are you looking for a service project for your group, class or organization with Summit Metro Parks? Please fill out this form and Summit Metro Parks volunteer program staff will be in touch.

We encourage you to visit Summit Metro Parks and generate a project proposal. Successful proposals identify an area of need to enhance our mission or are a creative and sustainable project that adds unique value to the organization. It should include a proposed location and timeline. It is very important that the proposed be developed and submitted by the scout.  
 
Please note that all projects are not necessarily a match to park needs and alternative concepts may need to be developed and proposed. We are no longer seeking park benches, bat/bird houses and bridges as scout projects.
