Planning an activity or event?
At the guidance of public health authorities, special use permits for groups of 10 or fewer are being reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Permits for larger groups are canceled or on hold. Learn more.
Many events involve large groups of people and may require additional park resources, including maintenance and security.
Regardless of event size, telling us what you plan to do in the Metro Parks helps YOU. We can advise permit holders of closures, scheduled maintenance and other potential conflicts, so there are fewer surprises. In addition, if liability insurance is required, it will protect the parties holding the permit as well as Summit Metro Parks.

Note: Applicants may not publicize an event prior to receiving an approved permit.
