Annual Park District Auction

Per its Board of Park Commissioners (approved board resolution 8.2026), Summit Metro Parks will use internet auctions to sell unneeded, obsolete or unfit park district property from January 14 through December 31, 2026. Auction listings can be found on Farnsworth Auctions LLC. or GovDeals.

The personal property disposed of through internet auction includes but not limited to, motor vehicles, road machinery, car parts, equipment, tools and office equipment or supplies, regardless of property’s value, which are not needed, obsolete, or unfit for the public use for which it was acquired. The number of days of bidding for each auction will be at least ten (10) days, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays. Terms and condition of sale will be established at the time of the auction for that sale.
