| Hike eight designated trails, September 1 through November 30, to receive hiking rewards, which are FREE to Summit County residents. Out-of-county residents pay to receive their awards ($10 for first-year hikers, $5 for veteran hikers)*. |

Turkeys are becoming a common, year-round sight in the Metro Parks. Males are called gobblers, females are hens. The young are called poults.
