Wormy Wood
American chestnut used to be one of the dominate species in our forests. In the early 1900s, a fungus nearly wiped out the species. Lumber, called wormy chestnut, was harvested from those dying trees.

Itty-Bitty Bat
The eastern pipistrelle is the smallest bat species in Ohio. When in flight, it can be confused with a large moth.
