About the Publication
The Programs & Events Guide is produced monthly and mailed free of charge to Summit County residents.* If you would like to be added to the mailing list, click here.

*We only send publications to in-county residents because the park district is funded by Summit County tax dollars. However, Friends of Metro Parks will send our publications to its members who live outside of Summit County.

Protect, Serve and Be Fit
Metro Parks rangers must complete a timed 1.5-mile run and meet minimum requirements for push-ups and sit-ups.

Venomous Snakes
Twenty-seven snake species are found in Ohio, but only three are venomous: timber rattle, copperhead and massasauga. None are typically found in Summit County.
