Did You Know?

Wormy Wood
American chestnut used to be one of the dominate species in our forests. In the early 1900s, a fungus nearly wiped out the species. Lumber, called wormy chestnut, was harvested from those dying trees.

Clever or Lazy
Wood ducks will often lay their eggs in another duck's nest, tricking it into raising the wood duck's young.
