Purchase Season Passes

2012 Swimming

Enjoy lake swimming, May 26 to August 19, 2012, at Munroe Falls and Silver Creek. Both swim areas are open daily, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Swim gift cards can be purchased at our administrative offices (975 Treaty Line Rd., Akron) or F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm (1828 Smith Rd., Akron) during normal business hours. The gift cards are available in $5.00 increments and can be redeemed when season passes go on sale in spring 2012.

Pricing | Boat Rentals

Enjoy lake swimming, May 28 to August 21, 2011, at Munroe Falls and Silver Creek. Both swim areas are open daily, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

During swim season, an admission fee or season pass is required to enter Munroe Falls Metro Park. At Silver Creek Metro Park, an admission fee or pass is required to enter the beach area.

Daily admission is $4 for adults and teens (ages 13 and older), $3 for children (ages 2 to 12). Kids under 2 are admitted free. Age at time of purchase determines price.

Boat Rentals: Available during swim season. Canoes are $6/hr plus $2 for each additional hour, or $14/day. Pedal Boats are $3/half hour. Row Boats are $6/hr, plus $2 for each additional hour, or $14/day. A $10 refundable deposit and valid driver's license are required. Munroe Falls only has pedal boats.

Rental Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at Munroe Falls. The Silver Creek boathouse is open Thursday through Sunday and Monday holidays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cave Café
Mary Campbell Cave in Gorge Metro Park used to be called Old Maid's Kitchen. In the summer, tourists to the area had lunch lowered to them from the cliff above - for a fee, of course.
