2016 Swim Season:
May 28 - August 14

Pass Rates | Boat Rentals

Enjoy lake swimming at two Metro Parks: Munroe Falls and Silver Creek. Swim areas are open daily, weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends/holidays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Swim areas may be closed due to inclement weather conditions, including persistent rain, thunderstorms or cold temperatures.

During swim season, an admission fee or season pass is required to enter the beaches at Munroe Falls and Silver Creek.

NEW this year:

  • A fence has been added around the lake at Munroe Falls Metro Park. Only people entering the beach area to swim will be charged an admission fee!
  • Concessions at Silver Creek Metro Park will be limited to vending machines. The vending machines are owned and operated by Hattie's, with proceeds benefiting the Hattie Larlham Foundation.

Daily admission is $4 for adults and teens (ages 13 and older), $3 for children (ages 2 to 12). Kids under 2 are admitted free. Age at time of purchase determines price. Payment is by cash or check only.

NOTICE: At Silver Creek, aquatic footwear is recommended. Snails and their shells are known to be on the lakebed, and they regularly wash up on the beach.

For more information, call the administrative offices at 330-867-5511, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
