MOTHER'S DAY 5K

Celebrate Mom on her special day!

This fundraiser and "friendraiser" for the Metro Parks Foundation is Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Lake Area in Munroe Falls Metro Park. Start time is 8 a.m.

Through February 29, advance registration is $20/person for ages 15 and up. Registration is $30/person March 1 through May 1.

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP IS REQUIRED Saturday, May 7 at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm, from noon to 4 p.m. Call 330-865-8065.


The stroller-friendly course for this timed race travels twice around the scenic lake. Awards will be given to the top three men's and women's finishers. The top two winners' names in every race category will be engraved on bricks and placed in the walkway near the bathhouse.

  • The course is not ADA compliant, but wheelchair athletes are welcome.
  • The event is held rain or shine. There are no refunds.
  • Timing is provided by North Coast MultiSports. View results from 2015
  • Only adult runners registered in advance are eligible for a free shirt.
  • THERE IS NO DAY-OF REGISTRATION. Registration is required for all runners and walkers. Participants 14 and under are free, but they must be registered. Ages 14 and under do not receive a free shirt.
  • Registration is not required for children in strollers.
  • Wagons, bikes, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on the course.
  • Dogs are not permitted on the course. All pet spectators must remain on leashes (8-feet max).
