Adults, join Summit Metro Park naturalists on a March Migration Madness field trip. Relax and leave the driving to us! Only 12 local birders will be able to climb aboard a chauffeured mini-bus at 6:45am. This seven-hour roundtrip birding bonanza will feature five hours of exploring the expansive wetlands and agricultural fields in and around Funk Bottoms and Killbuck Marsh Wildlife Areas in Wayne County. We will search for ducks, geese, swans, raptors and early migrating shorebirds. This field trip is appropriate for beginners as well as advanced birders. Our small group size will allow for optimal viewing as well as teaching, learning and fellowship. Bring binoculars, field guides, spotting scopes (optional), cameras, snacks, beverages and your own packed lunch. Dress to be comfortable in any weather all day. A non-refundable fee of $50 is payable upon registration. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND BEGINS ONLINE 3/4: Register here.
