Boat Attendant

Be present at the boat facility at the designated park during the season to rent boats, sell merchandise and provide required safety equipment to users. Collect money, maintain records and prepare receipts. Maintain and clean boats, safety equipment and facilities.

Conservation Maintenance

Primary seasonal maintenance focus on invasive species management (including herbicide application), requiring commitment to 40 hours per week.  Reporting location: 790 Van Buren Avenue in Barberton.

Cultural Resources Field Technician

Assist with cultural resource management projects throughout the district in cooperation with the cultural resources staff. Duties will include the collection of historic and precontact data from secondary sources as well as site specific field studies and personal interviews. The employee will be responsible for cultural resource data collection, documentation and analysis.

Maintain and enhance park district lands and facilities by performing unskilled and semi-skilled horticultural duties necessary for the maintenance of the park landscape beds. Tackle a diverse range of hands-on projects, from roadway and trail upkeep to landscape beautification and building maintenance. Work alongside skilled professionals using a variety of equipment – from road repair equipment such as crack sealers and trucks to mowers and power tools – to complete essential repairs, renovations and improvements. Contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our community by assisting with everything from routine maintenance and preventative care to special events and activities.
