Ohio residents are invited to submit their creative works for publication in Verdant Wonders, the park district’s new literary journal that focuses on nature and culture. Submissions of fiction, creative nonfiction, personal essays and poetry are welcome September 1 through December 31, 2025. Join a writer-turned-naturalist for a session on writing about nature, cultural history and the environment. Bring work to learn how to reach its full potential or get started on something new. If you bring work, it must follow Verdant Wonders guidelines. Registration is required and begins 10/23.
