Gardening in the Shade

Join a naturalist as we discuss planning a shade garden using native plants that naturally thrive in low-light environments. We’ll cover garden design in shaded areas like under trees, along buildings and woodland settings. We will also discuss different types of shade, selecting appropriate native plants, preparing soil, water requirements and basic planting techniques for each.
