Cycling Tour: Summit Lake & Kenmore

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (Wednesday—Saturday 10 a.m.—5 p.m., Sunday 12–5 p.m.).

Explore the historical, cultural and economic significance of the Kenmore & Summit Lake neighborhoods. A Jewish Cemetery, a renovated Pump House, the Canal, a railroad, bus barns and much more await the curious traveler. Please bring your own bicycle and helmet. Helmets are required. Expect to ride approximately 10 miles, at a casual (10-12 mph) pace on trails and roadways.

    Snow or not, there’s bound to be fun at Liberty Park! Toast a s’more over a fire, paint in the snow and try your hand at feeding the chickadees. Children 3 to 6 years old and their adult companions will learn about tracks, scat and other fun animal clues through a story, craft and games. Please make other arrangements for children unable to remain in infant seats or strollers. Registration is required and begins 12/1.
