Summit Metro Parks is pleased to announce Truck-or-Treat, a FREE family-friendly event to take place on Saturday, October 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Silver Creek Metro Park (5000 Hametown Rd., Norton) and Saturday, October 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Goodyear Heights Metro Park (2077 Newton St., Akron).
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore not-so-spooky decorated trucks and vehicles that help keep the Metro Parks beautiful. Participants can collect treats from park district staff, play games and enjoy refreshments, as well. Costumes are encouraged for all ages!
