FISH OF POND BROOK: HOW CLEAN IS THE CREEK?

Join a naturalist along with a conservation biologist as we survey the species of fish that live in Pond Brook. Presence of certain species can indicate the health of the stream. We will be electroshocking parts of the stream to determine what fish are living in that area and assess the quality of the stream. No harm is done to the fish, but it is an excellent way to survey the fish species present. LP/Pond Brook

We'll examine important aspects of water's connections to us and to all life on the planet, then investigate the life and health of a nearby stream. We'll be in the water for a portion of the program, so water shoes are recommended. FR/Brushwood
