FISHING FOR KIDS

Tired of being cooped up? Looking for something the kids can do? Well Summit Metro Parks has a deal for you…let’s go (socially distant) fishing! Summit Metro Parks will provide the poles and bait while you provide the kids ages 7-15. After a short lesson on fishing safety, how to cast, and how to bait a hook, kids will be able to test their skills for about 45 minutes. After the program, the kids can KEEP the poles! Dress for the weather, program is rain or shine. Don’t forget water and bug spray. Parents must stay with their children. Participants and guardians are asked to wear masks when arriving to the program and when distancing cannot be maintained. Class size limited to 10 participants. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND BEGINS 9/4: 330-865-8065. SC/Boathouse
