Intro to Stand-Up Paddleboarding

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (Wednesday—Saturday 10 a.m.—5 p.m., Sunday 12–5 p.m.).

Learn how to paddleboard and take a guided tour around the lake with a certified instructor. Minimum age is 13; ages 13 to 17 must be with an adult participant. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes and be able to swim. All equipment, including life jackets, will be provided. Location subject to change based on water conditions. Cost: $15/person. Registration is required and begins 5/1. All sales are final.

Waiver Agreement

I am fully advised and agree to the following:

  • All tickets purchased are for participants who are 13 or older and can swim.
  • All participants MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the program. FAILURE TO ARRIVE 15 minutes in advance for waiver completion will result in the inability to participate.
  • Participants ages 13 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is participating in the program.
  • Participants are also required to use Summit Metro Parks equipment during this program (including personal flotation devices).
  • Participants must wear closed-toe shoes, be able to swim, and are encouraged to bring sun protection.
  • Location, date, and time subject to change due to environmental reasons.
  • Manufacturer’s recommended weight limit per stand-up paddleboard is 250 pounds.
  • All sales are final.
