Vital Vernal Pools

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (Wednesday—Saturday 10 a.m.—5 p.m., Sunday 12–5 p.m.).

Meet in Pheasant Run Shelter to learn about the formation and richness of an essential and ephemeral spring habitat: the vernal pool. Afterward, join a short hike to listen to the frogs that flock to these pools.
