Enjoy a finale performance by the Metro Parks Ensemble! The concert will be inside Himelright Lodge for a perfect end-of-season setting.
Families are invited to a fun introductory camping experience led by naturalists. We will offer fishing, hiking, upcycled crafting, simple campfire cooking, a nature color-coded search for children, time in a tent and relaxing forest bathing.
Drop by to celebrate the end of summer around the campfire! We will play nature-themed games, tell family-friendly stories and eat plenty of s’mores (while supplies last). Bring a camp chair or blanket.
Stop in to celebrate the amazing migration of the iconic monarch butterfly. Learn about its lifecycle and cultural significance through hands-on activities, a Day of the Dead display, a story station and craft. You’ll leave with knowledge about how you can help these imperiled pollinators.
Fall into autumn fun at this FREE event featuring lumberjack shows, hayrides, bonfires, naturalist activities, music, refreshments and more. A wheelchair-accessible hay wagon is available.
