Woodland Mushrooms

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065, Tuesday—Saturday, 10 am—5 pm, Sunday 12–5 pm.

A walk in the woods can reveal otherwise overlooked wonders of nature. Join a naturalist on a hike to discover the beauty, variety and interesting ecology of mushrooms. Sturdy shoes, bug spray and drinking water are recommended.

    Children ages 3 to 6 and their adult companions will learn about our slithery friend: the snake! We’ll go over some amazing adaptations that makes them such unique animals through a craft, story and activities.
