Spring is here, summer is fast approaching and now is the time for birds and amphibians! Join a naturalist for a walk on Alder Trail to view the beautiful wetland area as nature begins to fully bloom.
This biweekly program is designed to engage young children and accompanying adults in the wonderful world of gardening. Each class builds upon the last and will be centered on what’s growing and ready to harvest! Adults are asked to actively participate with children during the program. Registration is required and begins on 5/28.
Summer is one day away! Young children and their adult companions can enjoy an interactive story time focused on nature in the new season. Make it a fun, family friendly morning by exploring the park or visiting the Nature Play area after the program.
Kids and their adult companions can join a naturalist to learn about the crawling, slithering, scaly and slimy creatures found in our parks. Meet one of our resident education animals before taking a short walk in search of toads, snakes and more in their natural habitat.
