Bust out your ugliest holiday sweater and come destress on a fun hike in the woods with us! We’ll hike about half of a mile, then head back to the campfire for s’mores, hot chocolate, and games. Ugly sweaters not mandatory, but highly encouraged!
Join the Greater Akron Audubon Society to learn more about how gardeners play a vital role in the development and conservation of habitat for pollinators and other creatures. Program Director Denise Ellsworth will share her knowledge from the OSU Bee Lab and introduce the Plant by Numbers Garden Guides, featuring plants that support birds, butterflies, bees and beyond.
Children 3 to 6 and their adult companions learn how April rains prepare plants and animals for spring. A craft and hike are part of the program. Please make other arrangements for younger children unable to remain in infant seats or strollers. Registration is required and begins on 3/20.
