Snakes for Kids

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (Wednesday—Saturday 10 a.m.—5 p.m., Sunday 12–5 p.m.).

Kids and their adult companions: Join a naturalist to learn about the fascinating slithering creatures found in our parks. We’ll start in the shelter for activities and to meet an animal ambassador before walking along the paved 0.25-mile Maple Loop in search of snakes in their natural habitat.

    Homeschoolers ages 7 to 12: Join us to learn what’s singing this spring and why there are so many things to see. We’ll explore topics like bird migration, insect emergence, spring ephemerals and more through a presentation, activities and a short hike. Dress for the weather. Registration is required and begins on 2/1.
