Homeschoolers ages 7-12: Join us to investigate how all living things are connected. Activities and outdoor exploration will help us learn how their interactions with each other and their surroundings affect the balance in nature. Registration is required and begins 9/1.

    Gardening in the Shade: Natives That Will Thrive

    Join a naturalist as we discuss planning a shade garden using native plants that naturally thrive in low-light environments such as under trees, along buildings and in wooded settings. We will also discuss different types of shade, plant selection, soil preparation, water requirements and basic planting techniques. This program takes place during the Native Plant Festival.
