Good Garden Talks: High Tunnel & Hoop Bending

October 2 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

| Akron Urban League

Join us in collaboration with Let’s Grow Akron and OSU Extension for a hoop bending demonstration and talk on season extension in hoop houses, low tunnels and maintaining soil health. Participants may bring up to six 10-foot pieces of 1/2″ EMT to bend during the class for making a low tunnel at home. If you are interested in screening your soil for heavy metals, OSU Extension will have low-cost soil test kits available onsite for purchase, while supplies last.
