Join a naturalist to explore one of Ohio’s most beautiful, and most misunderstood creatures: the coyote. We’ll chat for a bit, then take a 0.9-hike on Fernwood Loop to listen for their exciting calls. Bring a flashlight.

Kids and their adult companions can join a naturalist while exploring the stream to hunt for fossils and learn about the ancient creatures that once called this park home. Dress to get wet; closed-toe shoes required.
Children ages 3 to 6 and their adult companions will learn about black bears, beloved animals native to Ohio. A craft and game are part of the program. Please make other arrangements for younger children unable to remain in infant seats or strollers. Registration is required and begins on 6/5.
