Birding for the Visually Impaired

May 2 @ 10:00 am12:00 pm

| LP/Nature Center

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (Wednesday—Saturday 10 a.m.—5 p.m., Sunday 12–5 p.m.).

Join a naturalist as we practice our skills by using our ears instead of our eyes to see who has flown in during the spring migration. We will be walking the paved 0.25-mi Maple Loop trail, stopping periodically to listen for warblers, orioles, wood thrush or indigo buntings. We will hone our skills prior to the walk in the nature center, using recorded calls so when we get out on the trail, we will know what to listen for.
