Sealed Bids
District Restroom Replacement
Sealed bids for constructing the District Restroom Replacement: Sand Run Metro Park – Old Portage Area located at 1300 Sand Run Parkway, Akron, OH 44313 and O’Neil Woods Metro Park located at 2550 Martin Road, Akron, OH 44333 will be received by the Summit Metro Parks, 975 Treaty Line Road, Akron, Ohio 44313, until 2 p.m. (Eastern Time) Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at which time they will be opened and read.
Plans and specifications may be obtained from SE Blueprint at 520 S. Main St. Suite 2411, Akron (330-376-1689) for $120.00 plus tax for electronic copies only $165.00 plus tax for both printed and electronic copies, payable to SE Blueprint. Plans can be viewed on-line at www.seblueprint.com. Bids must be sealed in an opaque envelope marked “Bid for District Restroom Replacement: Sand Run Metro Park – Old Portage Area and O’Neil Woods Metro Park”.
The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.

Annual Park District Auction
Summit Metro Parks will use internet auctions to sell unneeded, obsolete, or unfit park district property from August 1 through August 11, 2026, per approved board resolution. Per its Board of Park Commissioners (approved board resolution 8.2026), Summit Metro Parks will use internet auctions to sell unneeded, obsolete or unfit park district property from January 14 through December 31, 2026. Auction listings can be found on Farnsworth Auctions LLC. or GovDeals.
The personal property disposed of through internet auction includes but not limited to, motor vehicles, road machinery, car parts, equipment, tools and office equipment or supplies, regardless of property’s value, which are not needed, obsolete, or unfit for the public use for which it was acquired. The number of days of bidding for each auction will be at least ten (10) days, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays. Terms and condition of sale will be established at the time of the auction for that sale.
