The Main Entrance at Goodyear Heights Metro Park (2077 Newton St., Akron) will be closed from June 1 through September 30. The closure is necessary to resurface the parking lot and replace curbs due to age and deterioration.
As a result of the closure, Goodyear Heights Lodge will also be closed. The park’s restrooms, picnic areas, trails and fields will remain open, accessible by foot traffic. The Eastwood and Pioneer Areas of Goodyear Heights Metro Park will remain open.
