Celebrate the fall season with Summit Metro Parks at Fall Family Outing, a FREE event for the whole family. Fall Family Outing is Saturday, October 4 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Lake Area of Munroe Falls Metro Park (521 S. River Rd., Munroe Falls).
Fall Family Outing offers fun for all ages, including hayrides, bonfires, kids’ activities like fishing and making s’mores plus other delights of the season. A wheelchair-accessible hay wagon will be available. Visitors will also enjoy Jack & Jill lumberjack shows, where lumberjacks and lumberjills will engage in friendly competition as they speed climb 45-foot poles, perform springboard chops and more.
Visitors can enjoy free refreshments or purchase food and drinks from the following food trucks: Everett Trail Kitchen and Henry’s Creamery. Maple Leaf Gifts, the park district’s gift shop, will have merchandise for sale, including Fall Hiking Spree t-shirts (credit cards only).
