Ranger Captain

Under the direction of the chief of rangers and serving as a commissioned peace officer, plan, organize and direct work of lieutenants, sergeants and park rangers to ensure public safety, protect natural resources and enforce park rules and regulations, and state laws.

Sales Assistant

Assist with merchandising, packaging and sale of a variety of Summit Metro Parks products while providing excellent customer service in an ever changing environment during evenings, holidays and weekends.

Conservation Maintenance

Primary seasonal maintenance focus on invasive species management (including herbicide application) requiring commitment to 40 hours per week.  Reporting location: 790 Van Buren Avenue in Barberton to begin August 4, 2025.

Maintenance Worker

Park maintenance worker maintains and enhances park district’s lands and facilities by performing unskilled and semi-skilled jobs in a manner which assures the highest standard of maintenance, safety and service to the public.
