Horticulturalist Maintenance Worker

Maintain and enhance park district lands and facilities by performing unskilled and semi-skilled horticultural duties necessary for the maintenance of the park landscape beds. May be required to perform general maintenance of buildings and facilities on a seasonal basis and to help with the construction of certain park improvement projects.

Maintain and enhance park district lands and facilities by performing unskilled and semi-skilled jobs in a manner which assures the highest standard of maintenance, safety and service to the public.

Naturalist

Help in creating and presenting a variety of nature-based educational programs and recreational experiences for park visitors. Work with community engagement staff to create experiences for urban and non-traditional audiences throughout Summit County who would not routinely visit Summit Metro Park programs or facilities because of identified barriers.

Service Center Maintenance Worker

Tackle a diverse range of hands-on projects, from roadway and trail upkeep to landscape beautification and building maintenance. Work alongside skilled professionals using a variety of equipment – from road repair equipment such as crack sealers and trucks to mowers and power tools – to complete essential repairs, renovations and improvements. Contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for our community by assisting with everything from routine maintenance and preventative care to special events and activities.
