Park Technician III – Service Center

Under the direction of the operations service manager, the park technician III maintains and enhances park district’s lands and facilities by performing a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and construction tasks to build, repair and install wooden or metal structures and fixtures on a variety of park projects. This position is responsible for operating a variety of carpentry hand, power and measuring tools, heavy equipment, trucks and trailers, snowplows and specialized equipment necessary for construction and maintenance activities.
