Part Time

Park Biologist

At Summit Metro Parks, our job is to collect, protect and perfect natural areas and biodiversity in and around Summit County for the perpetual benefit and enjoyment of our residents. As a part time biologist in our conservation department, your role is to provide direction toward this end primarily through ecological monitoring and assessment.

Conservation Maintenance

Primary seasonal maintenance focus on invasive species management (including herbicide application) requiring commitment to 40 hours per week. Reporting location: 790 Van Buren Avenue in Barberton to begin August 2026.

Under the direction of the chief of community engagement and community engagement managers, the seasonal naturalist helps in creating and presenting a variety of nature-based educational programs and recreational experiences for park visitors.
