Board of Park Commissioners meets August 11

The Board of Park Commissioners for Summit Metro Parks will meet Tuesday, August 11 at 11:30 a.m. at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm Visitors Center (1828 Smith Rd., Akron).

All petitions, applications and communications intended for consideration by the board must be in writing and received by the district’s executive director at least five business days before the board meeting. The Summit County Probate Judge appoints the five-person park board. Commissioners are volunteers who serve without compensation.
