Glacial Geology of Summit County

Join a naturalist to learn how the last glacial event profoundly changed the Summit County landscape. See how Summit County looked 10,000 years ago: no trees or plants, just vast areas of sand, rocks, snow and ice. Learn about Lake Cuyahoga, a large glacial lake that once covered Akron to depths of over 100 feet.
