DESCRIPTION:Run\, jog or walk to celebrate the mother figure in your life at this Mother’s Day 5K from Summit Metro Parks. The stroller-friendly course for this chip-timed race travels twice around scenic Munroe Falls Lake. Proceeds benefit the Summit Metro Parks Foundation. \nFor ages 14 and under\, registration is $10 through race day. The discount for 14 and under registrants is applied at checkout. \nFor ages 15 and older\, registration is tiered by date: \n\n$20/person through January 14\n$25/person from January 15 through March 14\n$30/person from March 15 through April 14\n$35/person from April 15 through race day (participants may register on the morning of the race\, but will only be able to do so online)\n\nA free race t-shirt is included with each paid registration\, including the 14 & under kids category\, while supplies last. SUMMARY:Wandering for Warblers Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join naturalists for an all-day exploration of the “Warbler Capital of the World” during the Biggest Week in American Birding. The tour bus will depart at 6 a.m. for the famed Magee Marsh and other birding hotspots\, returning at 6 p.m. Be prepared for extensive walking on boardwalks and trails. Dress for variable weather conditions. Pack lunch\, beverages\, snacks\, binoculars and a camera. Cost: $75 per person. Registration is required and begins 4/1. All sales are final.
