Rooted in Moore‑Dunson’s exploration of healing and belonging in nature as a Black man\, Black by Nature reimagines the relationship between identity and the outdoor world. The work creates space for reflection\, freedom\, and connection\, guided by an original\, jazz‑influenced score performed live by an acoustic ensemble of guitar\, saxophone\, trumpet\, upright bass\, and hand percussion. DESCRIPTION:Fall into autumn fun at this FREE family event! Enjoy the change of season and the feeling of fall with free cider\, apples and popcorn while enjoying lumberjack shows\, naturalist activities\, hayrides\, bonfires\, music\, food and more. \nVisitors can also purchase food and drinks from food trucks. Maple Leaf Gifts\, the park district’s gift shop\, will have merchandise for sale\, including Fall Hiking Spree t-shirts (credit cards only). \nThanks to a partnership with METRO Regional Transit Authority\, visitors can ride public transit to and from Fall Family Outing. Route #80 will depart the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center (631 S. Broadway St.\, Akron) for Munroe Falls Metro Park and back every 45 minutes beginning at 1:30 p.m. Ride free on METRO Direct and METRO ADA when you show the flier (paper or digital). \nLeashed dogs are welcome.
