Did You Know?

Something's Fishy
Although found in our parks, rainbow trout are not native to Ohio. They are historically found in the western United States.

Native Navigation
The Indian Signal Tree, an unusually formed Bur oak in Cascade Valley Metro Park, was reportedly shaped by Native Americans to serve as a marker on the old Portage Trail between the Cuyahoga and Tuscarawas rivers.
