Fishing Guidelines
State of Ohio fishing regulations apply. The use of traps, spears, gigs, bows, arrows and unattended hooks is prohibited. Only children 15 and younger are permitted to fish at Little Turtle Pond in Firestone Metro Park.

Most female lightning bugs, members of the beetle family, cannot fly. They spend their entire lives on the ground.

Metro Parks is governed by volunteers. Commissioners serve overlapping three-year terms without compensation.
